Located inside an old and beautiful Izmir home, every weekend is like one giant house party, complete with plenty of drinks from the bar. 1. Nar Bar

One of Alaçatı’s (a very popular resort town in the Izmir province) most popular bars, Nar Bar also opened a branch in Izmir city and became an instant favorite. Enjoy excellent cocktails in a laid-back and cool atmosphere, including a pretty great backyard. Also a café, you can go from day to night quite easily at this venue or start out your night here with a few drinks before heading to the next venue.

A favorite on crowded Gazi Kadınlar Sokağı, Bios Bar features some of the best live performances you can find in Izmir. The large stage has hosted famous names from Turkey’s music scene, from the alternative to the classic, as well as up-and-coming names with a lot of talent. Order a drink at the bar and enjoy some great live music.

3. Gazi Kadınlar Sokağı

Gazi Kadınlar Sokağı is Izmir’s most popular nightlife street, always overly crowded on the weekends with people going to and fro between venues. The renovated historic homes that line the street, the fish restaurants with their live fasıl music, and the rock bars all come together in this amazingly lively place.

4. Sirena Pub

One of the best places to enjoy a tall glass of beer and some excellent pub grub in a very laid-back atmosphere is Sirena Pub, a local favorite during every season. In the summer, the outside seating is always full, while the interior abides by the classic pub look, including decorative steins and a coaster collection from all around the world.

If you’re looking for some great live music while you enjoy a drink and some pub grub, then BlackJack will become your favorite spot in Izmir.
