1. BRLO Brwhouse

BRLO Brwhouse is a brewery, bar, beer garden and restaurant that houses the city’s pioneering craft beer, BRLO. Located in the heart of Gleisdreieck, the bar and its expanding outdoor seating is set up in a unique venue of 38 upcycled shipping containers. The rustic, industrial vibe of BRLO suits the city well, and its extensive craft-beer list and mouthwatering menu continue to delight visitors. On a sunny day, the large outdoor area is a great spot to relax and enjoy some craft beer in Berlin.

2. Monkey Bar

Monkey Bar bar has it all – spectacular views over the city, hipster lighting, indoor plants, explosive-looking drinks and cocktails, neon signage and a clever name. It’s located on the tenth floor of the devastatingly cool 25hours Hotel, and offers breathtaking views of Berlin and a terrace ideal for sundowners.

One of the coolest and most unusual bars in Berlin is moored in the Spree by the East Side Gallery. Floating Lounge, overlooking Oberbaumbrücke, is the bar and hostel located on a large, repurposed boat. When the sun is beaming and the weather is warm, head here to enjoy some refreshing drinks and great vibes.

Nola’s is the Swiss-inspired restaurant and bar that overlooks Mitte’s Weinberg Park. A popular summer destination, this spot is ideal for afternoon fondue, with some beer or wine to wash it down. Immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of the park, with all the cushy comforts of a bar and watch the sunset over the city.

5. Mikkeller Berlin

Mikkeller is the high-ceiling, stylish, airy craft beer bar in Mitte. From the micro-brewery by the same name in Copenhagen, this bar offers some of the tastiest beer in the city. In the summer, the small Scandi bar opens up its windows and provides some much needed outdoor seating for its beer-loving patrons. It’s a great spot to sit on bustling Torstraße to watch the world go by.

One of the most popular spots in the summer, there is always something going on at Club der Visionaere. The bar/nightclub is perfectly situated by the canal, where visitors can enjoy cheap drinks while listening to a diverse musical lineup, including hip-hop, ’80s pop, ’90s R&B, and, of course, house and techno sounds. Always filled with a great energy, its outdoor atmosphere make it an unbeatable summer spot.
