Pinchos are one of the favorite and most easily found foods on the island of Puerto Rico. Try these tender savory sticks loaded with chicken, pork or more at a food truck, restaurant or a front yard grill.

1. Jumbo's Pinchos

Food Truck, Canteen, Restaurant, Kebab, Street Food, Gluten-free, Fast Food, Vegetarian, Vegan

Located in Plaza Las Delicias in Ponce, Jumbo’s offers tasty pork or chicken pinchos, or both on the weekends. Axel and his sister have mastered a marinade so the meat is wonderfully tender and flavorful. Great with or without sauce, for breakfast, lunch or dinner or a snack in between. Don’t wait too long to stop by, because they are only open until the pinchos run out, and they go fast.

2. Arecibo Flea Market

Near the entrance to the flea market you will find this pincho stand, and come hungry because you’re going to want to try them all. Not only are the different meats incredible, they have a variety of sauces from which you can choose. The spicy mango is excellent, as is the sweet guava sauce. They also have traditional bbq sauce. Grab one as you walk in and tour the kiosks, then go back for more. Note: The flea market technically opens at 2pm, but most stands and kiosks do not start business until about 5pm.

3. El Pinchoneo

Bar, Restaurant, Turkish

Talk about variety, El Pinchoneo has it! Choose between tuna, shrimp, conch, turkey, chicken, pork, swordfish or mero. This is a pincho lover’s paradise.

5. Willy's Pinchos

Bar, Cocktail Bar, Pub Grub

Willy’s Pinchos is a fun bar and grill where you can get a great pincho and an ice cold beer. Sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather of Puerto Rico while you relax the day away.

6. Muffin Spot

Cafe, Food Truck, Healthy, Fast Food

The Muffin Spot is a wonderful place for lunch serving more complete dishes like mofongo and bistec, and is also home to some of the best pinchos in Cabo Rojo. This is another food truck you don’t want to miss.

7. Pura Vida Guancha

There is so much to do and see at La Guancha, including delectable food to try, but the pinchos at Kiosko 9 are the best. Sip a strong drink and listen to live music at Pura Vida Guancha.
