Reggaeton, originating in the late 1990s in Puerto Rico’s underground clubs, is a mix of Caribbean, African American, and Latin American sounds and rhythms. The genre is popular all over Colombia and in a wide variety of Bogota’s clubs and bars. 8. La Negra Bar

La Negra Bar, a basement-style bar located in Chapinero comes complete with a stage and regular live reggaeton music. The bar is decorated in Caribbean-influenced graffiti, bright colors covering the walls in incredible art, transporting visitors to the Caribbean coast.
