South Boston has evolved in recent years into a desirable neighborhood for families and young professionals who are drawn to its strong sense of community. The so-called ‘Southie pride’ is put on full display during the annual South Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade, when thousands of residents come to watch their neighborhood at its finest.
