This is the stunning The Summer Cave restaurant at the Grotta Palazzese Hotel in Puglia, Italy. Carved out of the limestone rocks by the sea, the enchanting venue has played host to banquets since the 1700s.

It’s open from May, serving classic Puglian seafood and pasta dishes until October, when it closes for winter. But it’s not the food you’re here for, it’s that view.

And here’s what the food and wine look like

The menu features classic pasta and rice dishes (Puglia is one of the flatter regions of the country and produces a large percentage of the country’s wheat), as well as seafood and fish.
