St Patrick’s Festival is the official and largest party to celebrate St Paddy’s Day in Berlin. Recently joining forces with Urban Spree at the RAW compound in Friedrichshain, the special day has a plentiful line-up of Irish food stalls, with all the classic favourites, including a few new vegan options, as well as lots of entertainment with an opening ceremony including a cameo from the Irish Ambassador to Germany, and free concerts from Berlin-based Irish musicians and dancers. Guinness and Bushmills Irish Whiskey support the event, so expect to join the jolly crowd with a pint in your hand. Bringing authentic Irish charm to Berlin, it’s the place to be on St Patrick’s Day.

2. MacLaren's Pub

MacLaren’s Pub is the How I Met Your Mother (HIMYM)-themed Irish pub located in the trendy neighbourhood, Friedrichshain. This quirky joint pays homage to the nine-season strong show, complete with tons of inside jokes that HIMYM fans will love. For St Patrick’s Day the bars put on a truly Irish and lively event, complete with Jameson Whiskey, baby Guinness shots and bottled Irish cider, a long happy hour and complete coverage of the Six Nations rugby.
