Potsdam’s Dutch Quarter has been home to Café Guam for 12 years. The cosy café is known for its traditional German cheesecakes, which they have over 30 different varieties of. The popular joint fills up quickly on weekends with visitors and locals alike. With a welcoming atmosphere and wooden interior, it’s the perfect spot for coffee and cake in the Dutch Quarter.

Zweitwohnsitz, which is German for ‘second home’, is a quaint, centrally-located café, with a shabby chic interior. Serving up a selection of homemade cakes, breakfast options, small lunch dishes, coffee, and beer, it’s a great place to stop and recharge while exploring Potsdam.

Café Eden is a cosy café with stunning surroundings. This tranquil spot is perfectly located in Sanssouci garden and has a large outdoor area overlooking the Roman Baths. Serving up Italian-style coffee, cake, and ice cream, as well as a small BBQ selection. Café Eden is a lovely stop in Sanssouci Park for a sweet treat or small bite to eat.
