Christiansminde beach in Svendborg is a real favourite among locals and tourists. On a warm sunny day, you’ll see a mixed crowd of young and old people sunbathing, taking some dips from the wooden jetty or playing at the playground. Reaching the beach of Æbelø island isn’t an easy task. But then again, the most spectacular landscapes are hidden in the most remote corners. Æbelø is an uninhabited island on the top of Funen where instead of houses and restaurants you’ll find a vast forest and sandy coasts. Those who want to live the unique experience of sunbathing or horse riding on a deserted beach have to hike for around an hour through the sea or sail when the tide is high. Since 1998, the island has been designated as a conservation area, which means that the island’s flora and fauna have evolved without human intervention.

Nordstrand- Kerteminde

The beaches here are quiet and peaceful surrounded by an unspoiled landscape, which consists of rich vegetation and Funen’s largest heath.
