Thailand is well-known for having an abundance of beauty amenities available at a fraction of what they’d cost elsewhere. From massage parlors to hairdressers, it is not uncommon for customers to spend as little as a few bucks at any one of these places. That being said, do not be surprised if the service coincides with the price. To save you from any beauty pitfalls, here are the best places in Bangkok to get pampered.

1. Crystal Spa

Crystal Spa is all about convenience. For one, it is located a mere handful of steps from the BTS Skytrain Station Phra Khanong, so spa-goers can quickly get in and out of Bangkok’s suffocating heat. Once inside, customers are greeted by a friendly staff and more than a few services to sort through before deciding which spa treatment to go for. Waxing, facials, body massages, scrubs, manicures, pedicures: there is seemingly no service that Crystal Spa does not offer. Those travelers on a budget might opt for a traditional Thai massage (฿450) or a manicure (฿400). The more lavish the service, the higher the price, however, most of Crystal Spa’s packages range between ฿400-1,800, which is a steal in comparison to other countries.

2. Ruen-Nuad Massage Studio

Spa

As one of the most affordable studios on the list, the Ruen-Nuad Massage Studio is great for travelers who want a luxurious spa experience without paying luxurious spa prices. A traditional Thai massage starts at only ฿350 for an hour. The studio is also incredibly inviting and relaxing, set inside a charming homestyle spa with wooden decor and green foliage throughout. The salon provides city-goers an escape from the chaos of the capital, even though it is located in the heart of downtown off the BTS Skytrain Station Sala Daeng.
