In the spirit of planning for the whole year, here’s one of our favourite trips complete with a multitude of departure dates throughout 2024. From kayaking through mangroves and caves to sampling traditional street food, this 11-day trip will immerse you in the riches that southern Thailand has to offer. Starting in the buzzing capital of Bangkok, head south to Phuket and Khao Sok Lake, where you’ll stay in a floating raft house and experience a wildlife boat safari – possibly spotting a sun bear if you’re lucky. Snorkel in the Andaman Sea, embark on a sunset cruise and explore the hidden lagoon on Hong Island before some well-earned relaxation in Koh Yao Yai. Cap off your island-hopping adventure with a farewell group dinner under the star-studded sky.

Seductive Southern Italy

How about watching the sun set on the Amalfi Coast before the sun sets on your year of travel?

We keep wondering why this is one of our most popular trips and then we look at the itinerary and realise why. With clifftop villages, secluded beaches and authentic Italian cuisine, this 10-day journey across southern Italy gives you a flavour of one of the most popular destinations in the world. Film fans will gawp in amazement at the sheer majesty of Matera, the stone village that featured in prominent scenes in the most recent Bond film. Other highlights include a cruise along the Amalfi Coast and time in Naples, the city that arguably feels more authentic than any other in Italy.
