However, as the 2022 FIFA World Cup looms, there has been a push to offer a more diverse and cost-effective range of hotel options for visitors. With accommodation ranging from city-side digs to rooms in the heart of the historic district, here are our picks of the best cheap hotels in Doha to book for your next visit.

Located directly opposite the Museum of Islamic Art, The Town Hotel offers basic but comfortable rooms within easy reach of the city’s contemporary east coast district, West Bay.
