Aza is a luxurious classic library bar located at the Fairmont Hotel. The bar is decorated in the style of an emperor’s hunting lodge; everything from the books and sofa sets to the tiny windows and door have been royally designed. The Aza bar is divided into a cigar room, a whiskey bar, a large regular bar and an area for outdoor drinking. Bar Palladio at the Narain Niwas Palace is a treat for the eyes. The interior was designed by Marie-Anne Oudejans, the creator of the design brand Tocca. Turquoise and white are the only combination of colours used, with traditional Indian motifs in Mughal style on every corner of the hotel; on the walls, on the pillows, on the vase; resulting in a fresh yet regal atmosphere. Replay

Replay bar has a home like feel to it: the tiny green and yellow windows and the little seating chamber covered with sheer curtains accompanied by dim-lit chandeliers, sets just the right tone for socializing and chatting. ‘EAT. DRINK. PLAY’ is their motto. Located on the outskirts of Jaipur, Replay is the perfect place to stop off after a long day’s rummaging at the various markets in the area.

Sheesh Mahal

Established in the heart of the Pink City, Sheesh Mahal is the envy of the town. With a centrally placed bar with a golden spotlight on it, the eye is immediately drawn to the bar area upon entering. The interior is inspired by the Rajputana Palace hall of the mirror. The bar is embedded with small mirrors in the curtains, on the walls, on the seating, reflecting one of the distinct features of the Rajputana fashion. Sheesh Mahal bar is an extension of the ITC Rajputana Hotel, and is a great place for an elegant evening drink.

Steam

Steam is a unique bar extraordinarily located inside an actual steam engine (Shikhar Train carriage). The decor radiates grandiose and high-class with a distinct Victorian style. The food is served inside the train as well as on the platform. Inside the steam engine are diwan seats (low floored seats), in the manner in which kings and higher officials sat during the period before the Independence of India, adding a touch of history and culture.
