Agadir is one of the most beautiful beach cities in Morocco. While being close to the desert has its advantages, such as being able to enjoy camel rides, the high temperatures and sunny beach can be too much at times. This is why relaxing on a long chair by a cool swimming pool is the perfect solution!

The Sofitel is a famous chain of hotels across Morocco. In 2012, the Sofitel Agadir Thalassa Sea & Spa was opened. This 5-star property is located on the beach and boasts incredible views as well as three restaurants and a relaxing spa. You can get an exclusive, full-day pool pass, including access to their private beach, with a long chair and towel, for 500 MAD (45€), and children under 12 can enjoy this for 250 MAD (20€).

2. Hotel Palais des Roses

This is the hotel located right next to the Sofitel on the beach, and it looks like a palace that is beautifully decorated with traditional Berber aesthetics. It has three restaurants, a jazz bar, and a spa where you can enjoy a traditional hammam and a massage. Compared to the last location, the price for a pool day pass at Palais des Roses is definitely more affordable. For 20€, you can chill on a long chair and also have a snack.

This property is located 200 metres from the beach of Agadir and is an apartment-hotel complex that offers a fitness centre with a hammam, sauna and much more. Of course, a pool is available at the property, and although smaller than the other ones, the price is very decent –100 MAD (8€) for the entire day including lunch. This is the best option if you are on a budget, as it is very affordable and close to the beach.

Lunja Village is a resort near Taghazout that is so large it has its very own water park. This water park boasts water slides and many pools, as well as green areas to relax and enjoy the sun. The restaurant offers three kinds of meals a day and it is very close to the Taghazout Bay, an incredible location for the summer. If you are interested in a stay at the village, they have many spacious and modern apartments for rent, as well as bungalows and even a kid’s club. Adults simply have to pay 150MAD (13€) for a full day of fun.
