There are two distinct tribes of pizza lovers. The first are those who drool over the classic Napoletana style—paper thin, crispy stone-baked pizza, delicately topped with quality ingredients. Then there are those who pine for thick, doughy bases laden with cheese and as many toppings as possible. No matter which tribe you’re in, the Chilean capital has something to cater for every pizza lover’s need. Check out our handy guide to help you decide where to head for your next slice.

1. Los Insaciables

This busy rodizio style pizzeria offers all-you-can-eat promotions. Yep that’s right, as much pizza as you can stomach right in the heart of Providencia. It’s the ideal choice for large groups looking to get their fill or for an after work pizza binge. Los Insaciables also offers great dessert options, including sweet pizzas to cap off your meal. Don’t forget there is another branch in Lo Barnechea.

2. Amadeus

This place is a great choice not only for its pizza menu, but also for inventive salads, tasty piadinas and an extensive dessert list. Expect Napoletana-style pizzas with a huge selection of vegetarian and meat toppings. If that wasn’t enough, Amadeus is idyllically situated overlooking the leafy Bustamante Park—the perfect place for a lazy, pizza-filled Sunday afternoon.

3. Central Pizza

Central Pizza is the go-to place for quick, cheap food to share with friends. It serves up New York-style pizzas, so expect meat-centric toppings on comforting doughy bases. The menu offers classics such as Hawaiian and pepperoni mixed in with more unusual choices like carbonara flavour. With daily promotions, it is the perfect place for an impromptu pizza pit stop.

4. Golfo Di Napoli

Pizzeria, Restaurant, Italian, Fast Food, Vegetarian, Vegan

Owner Vincenzo Guarino hails from Naples, so there is no doubting his pizza credentials. Situated in Ñuñoa, Golfo De Napoli offers expertly made stone-baked pizzas with fresh high quality toppings. The pasta options are definitely worth a try too! This place has a warm family feel and is very reasonably priced, so expect to wait at weekends. Be patient though, it’s definitely worth it.

5. Capperi

Nestled in the heart of Barrio Italia, the location alone should quell any anxieties of getting a bad pizza. Capperi is THE place to go for an amazing, authentic pizza with all the Italian trimmings.
