Instagrammers Are Going Nuts Over These Cute Unicorn Macaroons

For the love of unicorns!
Everyone loves macarons. They melt in your mouth, come in all sorts of ungodly flavours, and above all, their sugary layers of crystallised awesomeness are totally bad for you – what’s not to love?

While most people associate these wonderful treats as two simple-flavoured discs held firmly together with a tasty filling, Georgia-based Mac Lab Bakery has taken the concept much further and created these absolutely fabulous, hand-painted, rainbow-coloured, unicorn-themed macarons (don’t worry, our mouths dropped too).

Since their non-GMO rainbow queens appeared all over Instagram a few months back, the American desert lords have sifted through an insane amount of requests and questions from the press.

What’s even better about them is that they are entirely gluten-free! The ultra-cute creations, filled with gooey ‘fruity pebbles’, are so popular that the baking connoisseurs who brought them into existence will only allow you to buy five at a time (sad face). Sorry guys and gals, they don’t ship outside of the US, so you’ll just have to spend your hard-earned cash and go Stateside.
