Around El Morro Castle

One of the most popular attractions in all of Puerto Rico, visitors most often view El Morro from its entrance at the end of a sprawling green lawn. While that view is not to be missed, it’s also possible to check out the side of El Morro that faces the ocean from a trail at its base. In order to reach that point, start off at the Paseo de la Princesa and take a right at the large fountain. Go straight, pass the Puerta de San Juan (Doorway of San Juan), another structure built under Spanish-rule, and go down the trail that leads towards the open water, until you eventually see El Morro from the other side.

Condado

Condado is an area in San Juan with many shops, hotels, and restaurants, which lies between the ocean and Condado Lagoon. If staying at one of the hotels in Condado, using a bicycle is the perfect way to explore without straying too far from your base, making it easy to return and rest up before undertaking your next adventure.
