Vista Bahia

Restaurant, Seafood, Caribbean, $$
Travel to southwest Puerto Rico and enjoy the cuisine at Vista Bahia in Cabo Rojo. Specializing in seafood and Caribbean food, not only are the dishes delicious, but the restaurant’s location offers great coastal views too. It’s a convenient area to eat seafood Puerto Rican-style, since there are many restaurants to dine at, along the same road where Vista Bahia is located.

El Quenepo

Restaurant, Healthy, Seafood, Caribbean, Puerto Rican, Contemporary, American
In Vieques, Puerto Rico, visitors can find a noteworthy restaurant called El Quenepo. Open since 2007, the restaurant offers an international menu that can be enjoyed in an open air environment. Dishes include Caribbean cracked conch salad, pan seared mahi mahi, and turbinado tuna. In addition, they also offer vegetarian, gluten-free and vegan dishes.

Sancho Panza

Pizzeria, Restaurant, Caribbean, Italian
Located in the town of Mayaguez in western Puerto Rico, Sancho Panza is a popular place to eat with good prices that are budget-friendly. Pizzas and Puerto Rican food like mofongo are must-eat dishes; they also serve some seafood. Mayaguez is very much a college town, where there is a large University of Puerto Rico campus, so don’t be surprised if you see many students there.

Aurorita

Restaurant, Mexican, $
When looking for Mexican food in Puerto Rico, Aurorita is a must-visit restaurant. In the Puerto Nuevo area of San Juan, visitors can try a varied menu that includes tortilla soup, huevos rancheros, different types of burritos, and steak, not to mention their desserts. Among the drinks available are tequilas, margaritas, and local beers.
