The most expensive food or beverage item costs about $30, which is fantastic for the budget-conscious traveler. This ultra-modern, sophisticated bar is very welcoming with its relaxing ambiance. San Juan Café‘s specialty drink, the tropical bellini, is highly recommended. El Chile Ardiente

El Chile Ardiente casual bar is owned by Rafael Velazquez who is affectionately known as Rafy. It is a family-run business with a lively, happy atmosphere. Patrons can select regular soft drinks and beers (cervezas) or stronger alcoholic beverages like Bacardi rum and wines. This is a great spot to hang out after consuming the Mexican fare offered on the menu.

El Corozo Sports Bar & Restaurant

This lively sports bar has an American feel about it. There are several large televisions placed around the restaurant on the walls with different sports games being featured simultaneously. This a very reasonably priced bar and restaurant with a fun atmostphere.

Chilis Dorado is a bar with a casual setting and a lively atmosphere most of the time. Patrons get accustomed to the birthday songs being sung on a daily basis throughout the restaurant, as this is a popular place to dine for celebrations. A wide variety of specialty drinks, like margaritas and piña coladas, are offered by friendly, attentive servers.

Papo Guacaro's Place

This cool, hip and trendy bar has been around since 1940. Customers feel free to relax as there is plenty of outdoor seating available in the lovely Puerto Rican sun. At Papa Guacaro’s Place, American beers, like Coors Light, are served on a daily basis and other selections include sodas, juices and other non-alcoholic beverages; perfect for a quick pick-me-up or break during the day.

Applebee’s is known as a popular American chain restaurant. The atmosphere is very relaxing and inviting with large televisions placed all around. This bar has beer specials everyday so patrons can often get very good prices and drink deals. Mojitos are the drinks of choice here and they mix them with expertise, creating particularly tasty versions of this classic cocktail. The delicious frozen sangria is highly recommended as well.

This groovy bar has an extremely cozy ambiance with an atmosphere that time travels back to the 60s. The old-fashioned drapes and lovely antique furniture are reminiscent of older times. Incidentally, this spot was the former home of a previous Puerto Rican leader. The happy hour is not to be missed with some great prices on food and drinks. The barrelitos rum with coconut mix is a favourite with most patrons at The Mezzanine.
