The two-bedroom space is furnished in a simple and modern style with washes of greys and white. The full-sized fridge makes self-catering possible and there are Egyptian cotton sheets and a down comforter to add a little luxury. The little cove nearby is pretty and rarely busy.

Nearby Pedregal and Paraíso Escondido beaches are lined with palms, peaceful and relatively unspoiled, though the powerful currents rule out swimming in the ocean. Stop in for good value fresh seafood at nearby Mariscos Paseo del Centenario and you’ll probably be the only tourist.
