1. Ateliers et Saveurs

Ateliers et Saveurs, located in both Montreal and Quebec City, offers cooking classes as well as cocktail classes, wine tastings, and more. Classes are all taught by industry professionals and focus on creating classic tapas, appetizers, mains, and desserts. With the exception of some Midi Express classes, all public classes are given in French and are an hour long (30 minutes of class time and 30 minutes of tasting). The price range is CAD$22–$95 per class.

2. Appetite for Books

Appetite for Books is a bookshop Westmount that specializes in cookbooks and food-related literature in French and English. The shop also offers both scheduled and private cooking classes based on a selection of cookbooks—get a 10% discount on any books purchased during the classes.

3. Académie Culinare

Académie Culinare offers a wide range of classes covering everything from basics to advanced culinary methods. Themes include BBQ, Asian cuisine, healthy spreads, Christmas meals, tapas, fish and seafood, and more. There are classes for children, with and without their parents, and teenagers, and prices range from CAD$65.

A weekly cooking class designed for professional singles to enjoy new company and good food, each culinary and cocktail event with CookandDate lasts for four hours (two hours for cooking and two for dining and mingling) with 15–20 other people. Classes are differently themed (such as pizza, raw food, and more) and hosted by a private chef. Prices range from CAD$80–$125 per class.

4. La Guilde Culinaire

A culinary boutique dedicated to the art of cooking, La Guilde Culinaire offers culturally themed classes that range from Chinese, Spanish, French, and Thai cuisines to specific recipe classes, like tapas, fine chocolates, sweet and salted macaroons, sushi basics, sauces, and fish. 5. Atelier Petit Chef

Designed specifically for kids, Atelier Petit Chef is a workshop for children over three years old to make and decorate treats all together. Prices range from CAD$8 per child to CAD$245 for a party of 10 children.
