The mountain also offers plenty of backcountry and cross-country skiing options for those looking to build up a sweat at a slower pace, while taking in the breathtaking beauty of Canada’s wilderness. 3. Ski Bromont

Just an hour drive from Montreal, Ski Bromont is a quaint ski resort in the Eastern Townships that’s known for its reasonable ticket prices, excellent glades (known in Quebec as “sous-bois”) and night skiing. Join locals and visitors in carving up the mountain’s 100+ trails, making it the largest skiable area in North America. Of the 145 trails spread out over seven hillsides, you’ll also find 75 floodlit trails perfect for night skiing. All equipment can be rented on-site, and slope difficulties are varied.
