Muscat Festival

Muscat is the capital city of Oman and one of the most modernized and entertaining cities. It annually hosts one of the most globally-known festivals, which takes place in January and February. The festival is a cultural and artistic event that brings together different civilizations from around the world. During Muscat Festival, there are several musical events that take place, performing Omani traditional music and folklore dances. There is also an Arabic concert, where Arab singers come to perform.

For national celebrations, every region and governorate in Oman prepares its own celebration with Omani music and performances of traditional dances. Almost all celebrations are open to the public. They take place around the national days which are on July 23 and November 18 every year.

Alive Entertainment

Alive Entertainment is one of the largest entertainment promoters in Oman. They organize events in different languages for family shows, comedy shows, children’s shows and live music events. Their shows are usually held in the InterContinental Hotel or at the Shangri-La’s Barr al Jissah Resort & Spa in Muscat.

Rumba Lattina

Rumba Lattina is one of the most authentic Latino restaurant’s in Oman. It is a cultural mix of Caribbean, central and Latin American atmosphere, food and entertainment, in Muscat. The restaurant has ain-house band that plays from Tuesday through Sunday, 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Rumba Lattina also hosts several festivals throughout the year to celebrate various local and international events, like New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day and others, with diverse live music.

Route 66 is a bar restaurant located in Al Qurum Resort in the heart of Muscat. It has its own entertainment hub that offers live band performances. The restaurant also hosts several international musical nights such as afro parties, and musical events including karaoke nights.

Souq Es Sabt

Souq Es Sabt, which means Saturday Market in Arabic, is the first farmer’s market in Oman. It displays passionate home cooks, local handmade crafts, and brings art and music lovers together in a unique cultural gathering. During the day, which happens on Saturdays from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the event hosts several bands that perform live to the public.
