Opened in 2004 by a group of friends, Atlantis Books is an independent bookstore enjoying a stunning location in the heart of picturesque Oia. Lava Candles

The Lava Candles workshop in Kamari is perfect for bring original souvenirs home. Using a 2,000-year-old fishermen’s tradition, the candles are handmade with petrified lava stone and pumice then scented and dyed. The workshop also has a small collection of leather goods and ceramic jewelry, so there are several options to choose from for a pleasant little reminder of vacation in one of the most beautiful islands in Greece.

Venetsanos Winery

A souvenir list from Santorini can’t be complete without wine. Avoid the crowds and head to the Venetsanos Winery, just outside Megalochori. This family-run winery was established in 1947 and features a little museum about the production techniques of the winery. The recently renovated complex boasts an innovative structural design that uses gravity to streamline the winery’s energy efficiency. Sampling the winery’s products (Assyrtiko, Nykteri, Mandilaria, Liasto, and Anaggalis) at the scenic terrace as well as some locally produced snacks. Finish at the shop and buy a bottle.
