Youth Hostel Stuttgart International enjoys a unique location up the hill, offering a lovely view of the city. Start your day with a filling, complimentary breakfast and end your day socializing in the game rooms or the bistro. With 309 beds across 94 rooms (two- and four-bed), this is the biggest hostel in Stuttgart. It is only one mile (1.7 kilometers) from the main railway station and is well-connected by public transport. Youth Hostel Stuttgart International belongs to the trusted group International Youth Hostel Federation (IYHF). Guests who are not members of the IYHF or DJH (German Youth Hostel Association) need to pay an extra fee. Also, the room rates vary depending on the age of guests.

4. Blaues Haus

Blaues Haus (Blue House, named so because of the building’s color) is not technically a hostel but a great alternative to one. This house has three apartments, each with three comfortable double rooms, a bathroom, a common area and a kitchen. Public transport stops almost at the doorstep of the house and the city center is only 1.2 miles (two kilomters) away. You will find many cafés, restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets within a few minutes of the house.
