Friedrichstraße is a vibrant shopping district in Berlin, which runs as a straight line through Mitte and Kreuzberg. The area houses popular tourist attractions like Checkpoint Charlie and Trännenplast, as well as the city’s official homage to its favourite treat, The Currywurst Museum. It’s an area that’s definitely worth adding to your Berlin itinerary, and here are the best spots to treat yourself to a currywurst while you’re there.

Using only local meat and produce, this includes their amazing bio curry-ketchup and succulent sausages (offered with and without skin) – it’s some of the tastiest currywurst in town. A local favourite is, of course, the currywurst with Belgian-style fries, but there are also bratwurst and frankfurters on offer.
