This casual spot offers quick, freshly made and traditional Berliner currywurst served with fries and refreshing pilsner beer. It’s a convenient, local spot for a quick bite of this well-known dish.

Located in the heart of Alexanderplatz, in the shopping centre Galeria Kaufhof, Dinea Restaurant is a casual, family-friendly restaurant offering a range of traditional German dishes. The food-court style spot serves up a large currywurst plate including their house-made curry ketchup and crisp fries. Reasonably priced and conveniently located it’s a great spot to try currywurst in Alexanderplatz.

Sphere Restaurant - Berliner Fernsehturm

If you want your currywurst with a view then head up to the TV Tower Restaurant. Located in the city’s most iconic venue, the Berliner Fernsehturm and hovering 203 meters above Berlin, this stylish, 360-degree restaurant serves up a gourmet version of currywurst, with a Lenôtre Curry Roll on their bar menu. A rather touristy spot, the dishes aren’t cheap but the view is priceless.

Schlögl's - Altberliner Gaststätte

Since 1998 Schlögl’s 40 seat restaurant has been serving up traditional German dishes in Mitte, just a short walk from Alexanderplatz. The menu is well priced and includes two versions of original Berliner currywurst, either with fries or fried potatoes and salad. The interior is cosy and welcoming and their small adjoining beer garden is perfect in the summer, providing a quiet oasis in the heart of Berlin.

Zille Stube Restaurant

Located in the Park Inn, directly at Alexanderplatz, Zille Stube Restaurant is the German restaurant with a variety of traditional dishes. Due to its location, this is probably one of the most expensive spots to try currywurst in Alexanderplatz. However, for those looking to have a few beers in a relaxed, modern environment while they dig into this Berlin treat, it’s the perfect, close by spot.
