Among the selection are pictures of urban street art framed to trick the eye, summertime getaways from the heat of the city, and buildings both treasured and abandoned. ‘Finding cool reflections of street art in the streets of Berlin.’

‘I took this strolling through RAW-Gelände, which is an abandoned factory area. Nowadays you can chill at a couple of bars, clubs and even an urban pool.’

‘Two BMX bikers at the government district in Berlin. I always like being there because the architecture is so minimalistic and beautiful.’

‘Probably my favorite street art piece in Hamburg. It shows the famous Japanese artwork, ‘The great wave off Kanagawa’, by Hokusai.’

‘An art installation at Zürich‘s ‘Viaduktbögen’. The area has a very young and urban vibe to it, with a lot of cool restaurants, bars and great opportunities for shopping.’

‘Berlin’s streets are filled with beautiful old cars. I’m always happy if I see one. They blend in perfectly with the typical ‘Altbauten’, the old builds, in Berlin.’

‘One of the best things in summer is sitting by the river Spree with a cold Club Mate, watching the sunset.’

‘Just about an hour away from Berlin, you can rent kayaks and explore the Spreewald. It feels like you’re in a magical forest there, I expected to see a unicorn any minute when I was there!’

‘The rainbow building in Berlin. Almost every Berlin Instagrammer has been there by now because it just looks so cool. I wonder whether people living in it know that it’s become one of the signature motifs of Berlin by now.’

‘Exploring an abandoned GDR meat factory in Berlin-Lichtenberg. From one day to another, the factory was shut down and people couldn’t even go back in again to get their belongings. So there are still offices and locker rooms filled with clothes and personal things.’

‘The rainbow seats at a sports stadium in Berlin. When we went there the stadium was closed and we had to hop over the fence, just to get kicked out by security a couple of minutes later. Still absolutely worth it!’

‘A row of cute old houses in Porto. I loved how they were all different but looked so good next to each other.’

‘The view from above in Zürich. The river flowing through the city is super clean and you can go swimming in it at different spots.’

‘The frosty view from Warschauer bridge in Berlin-Friedrichshain. I personally don’t like that area too much, so I was surprised by the beautiful view over the train tracks on that day.’
