Schlesisches Tor is a familiar dot on the map for most since it’s a focal point in the heart of Kreuzberg. This familiar Bahnhof, subdued in its own dim glow, often serves as the catalyst for the evening’s escapades. Metro mavericks come stumbling up and down the stairs, full and empty beers clamoring loosely in their hands all hours of the evening. The surrounding Straßen carry their weight in street art, bars and delicious eateries. Street food perfumes the air and marvelous graffiti sleeps on the bare brick buildings. The chromatic corner has no shortage of things to do, see and enjoy.

Once one of the gateways to the city, now a bustling U-Bahn stop where bohemian life and good times orbit, Schlesisches deserves to be visually documented. Since its birthday in 1902 Schlesisches Tor has transformed along with her neighboring buildings to be the stunning slice of borough it is today.
