Prospero’s Books and Caliban’s Coffeehouse

Located in a small yard on Rustaveli Avenue, Prospero’s Books is one of the most popular places among foreigners and locals. Despite the fact that its located in the very center of the city, the venue is very peaceful. Come here to have one of the best coffees in town, sit in a small courtyard on warm days or find a place in a comfortable furniture inside. And if you happen to finish the book, you can always find something new.

Lisi Lake

Located a relative distance from the center, and accessible by bus or by taxi, Lisi Lake is the perfect place for a quiet picnic, relaxation and reading a book, of course. On warm days locals flock to the area to walk, jog, or cycle by the lake, or just enjoy time in nature.

Coffeesta

Coffeesta is a local coffee shop chain and its branch on Rustaveli Avenue is one of the cutest places of them all. The second floor of the venue offers very comfortable armchairs, where you can sit and sip some of their famous coffees, or order a homemade lemonade and sink in your book without any distractions.

Fabrika

Fabrika is a multi-purpose complex that encompasses a hostel, shops, co-working space and a barber shop to name a few. It’s one of the most bustling and trendy places to hang out in Tbilisi. The lounge area of Fabrika is a great place to chill, eat some delicious food, work or even read a book. It might be crowded, but everyone respects each other’s space, so you won’t get people distracting you.

Vake Park

If you don’t want to sit in a cafe and prefer to spend your afternoon or a day in nature or a park, Vake Park is a great alternative. The park is big enough to find a spot where you won’t be distracted by locals, kids, or dogs. Pack a small bite, take a blanket and enjoy a warm day here with your book.
