Goa is known for its sun, sea and sand, but most of all for its lively club scene and beach parties that go all night long. Known as the party capital of India, this city has a number of nightclubs – these are the best, including a multilevel club with a swimming pool, a rock carving-themed club on the waterfront and a club in the jungle.

Leopard Valley Goa

Leopard Valley, in a jungle quarry between Palolem and Agonda, is South Goa’s largest outdoor dance club. Picture a dance floor in the jungle where you can dance under the stars lit by flaming firepits, pyrotechnics and 3D lasers. Every Friday there’s music from international and local DJs who play to crowds of up to 3,000 partygoers; the music typically ranges from electro and techno house to psychedelic trance.

Club Cubana

Club Cubana, on Arpora Hill, promises a great time with its neon light shows and DJ sets. It’s one of Asia’s best clubs, thanks to its huge outdoor area with a pool, multilevel dance floors and music spanning genres from trance to disco beats and techno. There is a fully stocked bar and your fee on entry covers unlimited drinks.

SinQ Night Club

Fancy a pool party and lounging under a cabana? Head to SinQ in Candolim. This is a lounge-club where you can drink, dance and have unlimited fun. Inside, you’ll be greeted by state-of-the-art sound systems, four entertainment zones and DJs spinning the latest hits.

Cafe Mambos

Cafe Mambos is your best bet if you want to dance the night away. It’s a popular choice that gets very busy on the weekends, so expect little room to cut shapes on the dance floor. Head to the club for Indian and international music by a line-up of world-class entertainers and DJs.

LPK Waterfront

LPK Waterfront, which stands for love, passion and karma, is loved for its eclectic and diverse music. This club, located right on the waterfront across the Nerul River from Candolim, features rock carving-themed decor and is one of Goa’s most scenic nightclubs, with a centuries-old Indo-Portuguese church in the backdrop.

Shiva Valley

Every Tuesday, as the sun goes down, Shiva Valley turns into a psychedelic Goan trance heaven. This club, which spills out onto the beach, is known for its legendary parties, the vibe getting livelier and more energetic as it goes on into the small hours.

UV Bar

UV Bar, on the northern side of Anjuna Beach, is the place to go for psychedelic trance and techno music. Let loose on its two dance floors and stay for the fire shows. If you need to take a break and grab some food, you’re just off the beach, so try local delicacies from one of the many stalls lining the beach.

Cape Town Cafe

Cape Town Cafe is another happening dance and music spot worth checking out. It’s both a nightclub and a bar with an outdoor space, great sound systems and a lip-smacking food menu boasting Goan curries, steaks and pizzas. If you’re a football fan, you’re in for a treat, as it houses a huge screen showing football matches every night.
