One of the oldest names in the catering business, the Purohit Hotel restaurant has been offering great food at very cheap prices for over three decades now. They are most famous for their daal baati, which is by far the best to be had in Gandhinagar. The food is always fresh and tasty, and the place is clean. Must tries are the Kaju curry, and the Punjabi and Saurashtrain sabji. Expect the place to be crowded as it is very popular among locals.
Orchid (Fortune Inn Haveli)
Located in the beautiful Fortune Inn Haveli hotel, the Orchid restaurant offers a wide range of cuisine and impressive buffets allowing guests to try many different foods. The restaurant is perfect for lunchtime business meetings. For those with a smaller appetite, they also offer the option to select individual dishes from the a la carte menu.
