Sunset Beach Hotel

Sunset Beach Hotel, as you might guess from its name, is the best spot to watch the sunsets on Mahé Island. Head down to the beach to sink your toes in the sand, or opt for the hotel’s ‘sunset on the rocks’ restaurant for panoramic views.

Sunset Bar, Le Méridien Fisherman’s Cove

The Sunset Bar at Le Méridien Fisherman’s Cove is laid-back chic at its finest! Sip on delicious, signature cocktails while enjoying one of the best sunsets the island has to offer, overlooking the gorgeous Beau Vallon Beach.

Sunset Rocks

Known locally as Sunset Rocks, the rocks on the corner of Anse Kerlan beach are a quite the location. Take a picnic and some drinks, look out over Cousin and Cousine islands, relax and enjoy!

Black Parrot Suites Sundeck

Stunning panoramic views at sunset

Guests of the Black Parrot Suites will be treated to the best sundeck on the island. To enhance your romantic date-night experience, the bar serves fantastic cocktails as well.

Anse Georgette

Anse Georgette is a truly beautiful spot for watching the sunset. Enjoy a day by the beach, then head to the championship golf course at Constance Lémuria to watch the sun go down. Anywhere from the 15th through to the 18th holes will offer great vantage points.

Anse Severe

This is the a quaint spot on La Digue Island to enjoy ocean views. Often deserted, Anse Severe is also one of the best beaches in Seychelles. There’s a small shop here selling simple snacks, so don’t expect anything fancy – however, the sun sinking into the ocean will surely impress you.

Anse La Passe

Sunset at La Passe on Silhouette Island

Anse La Passe is a long, sandy beach lined with palm trees on Silhouette Island. Set in front of the Hilton Labriz Resort and Spa, it’s a paradisaical location to end your day. What’s more, you don’t have to be a hotel guest to access this beautiful beach.

Six Senses Zil Pasyon

Sunset in style at Six Senses Zil Pasyon

For guests of the stunning Six Senses Zil Pasyon on Felicite Island, head behind the Ocean Kitchen at sunset to find two sun loungers on top of the giant, granitic boulders. Ideal for cocktails and, in case you were looking for the perfect location, a great place to pop the question.

West Beach, Bird Island

Purple sunset at West Beach on Bird Island

West Beach on Bird Island offers some breath-taking purple sunsets. The sand on this beach is also some of the softest and finest you’ll find in the Seychelles. A beautiful, quiet and remote place to unwind and relax at the end of the day.

West Beach Bar

Watching the sun go down while dining in the West Beach Bar at North Island Resort has got to be the most delicious way to see the sunset in the Seychelles. There’s a relaxed and cozy vibe, perfect for cuddling up and chilling out.

Sunset cruise

There are countless charter boat companies in Seychelles, most of which will offer a sunset cruise. This is an exciting and romantic way to see the sunset, and many of the larger hotels, such as Constance Lémuria on Praslin, offer this directly to their guests. What’s more, the skipper will be able to take you to the spot with the clearest skies on that particular evening – a luxury you can only enjoy by boat.

Connect with like-minded people on our premium trips curated by local insiders and with care for the world

Since you are here, we would like to share our vision for the future of travel - and the direction Culture Trip is moving in.

Culture Trip launched in 2011 with a simple yet passionate mission: to inspire people to go beyond their boundaries and experience what makes a place, its people and its culture special and meaningful — and this is still in our DNA today. We are proud that, for more than a decade, millions like you have trusted our award-winning recommendations by people who deeply understand what makes certain places and communities so special.

Increasingly we believe the world needs more meaningful, real-life connections between curious travellers keen to explore the world in a more responsible way. That is why we have intensively curated a collection of premium small-group trips as an invitation to meet and connect with new, like-minded people for once-in-a-lifetime experiences in three categories: Culture Trips, Rail Trips and Private Trips. Our Trips are suitable for both solo travelers, couples and friends who want to explore the world together.

Culture Trips are deeply immersive 5 to 16 days itineraries, that combine authentic local experiences, exciting activities and 4-5* accommodation to look forward to at the end of each day. Our Rail Trips are our most planet-friendly itineraries that invite you to take the scenic route, relax whilst getting under the skin of a destination. Our Private Trips are fully tailored itineraries, curated by our Travel Experts specifically for you, your friends or your family.

We know that many of you worry about the environmental impact of travel and are looking for ways of expanding horizons in ways that do minimal harm - and may even bring benefits. We are committed to go as far as possible in curating our trips with care for the planet. That is why all of our trips are flightless in destination, fully carbon offset - and we have ambitious plans to be net zero in the very near future.
