One of the best places for a night on the tiles in Morocco, Agadir has a good number of bars and discos to entertain visitors long into the small hours of the morning. Spend lazy days on the beach, hit the major sightseeing hotspots, and party hard on the dance floor or relax in a laid-back bar. Many of Agadir’s most popular night spots are found within the area’s numerous hotels and resorts. Here are some of the best places in Agadir for a night out to remember.
Le So Night Lounge
Bar, Cocktail Bar, Pub Grub
Located within the high-class Sofitel Agadir Royal Bay Resort, Le So Night Lounge is a lively place, with DJs and live music to get people in the partying mood. (Do note, though, that the bar is closed on Sundays.) There are four separate areas, catering to all moods. The restaurant serves tasty French cuisine, So Nice is a sophisticated cocktail bar, So Fun has a large dance floor, plenty of drinks, and pumping music, and So Zen is the perfect place to chill out for a while on comfortable seats.
English Pub
Pub, British, European
Popular with locals and tourists alike, the English Pub is busy every night of the week. It’s a top place to enjoy a British vibe in a Moroccan coastal city. Friendly members of staff, separate smoking and non-smoking areas, strong and tasty cocktails, a wide assortment of other drinks, a resident DJ and karaoke all combine for a fun evening out. You can’t miss this bar as you wander along the street; the large Union Jack outside stands out loud and proud!
Camel’s
Restaurant, Moroccan, Lebanese, Greek, Healthy
Situated right on the beach and promenade, Camel’s is a restaurant by day and a laid-back bar-cum-restaurant in the evenings. It can be difficult to find a table at peak times, so make sure you get there early. Local musicians provide live entertainment and you can enjoy great views of the ocean from indoor and outdoor seating. Bottled and draft Moroccan and imported beers are available, as well as a selection of other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
O de L'Ha
The interiors of O de L’Ha are impressive, with traditional Moroccan designs, hanging metal lanterns, carved wood partitions, leather seating, and bright cushions. The establishment serves a basic choice of meals, in addition to a wide assortment of drinks, and you can also indulge in a quintessential experience: smoking a shisha pipe. Come early in the evening for a relaxed ambience, or later on for a more lively night out when a DJ plays Moroccan and international hits.
Zanzibar Lounge
Within the Hotel Riu Palace Tikida Agadir, the dimly lit Zanzibar Lounge has an assortment of drinks to enjoy, and shisha pipes are also available. The atmosphere has a slightly edgy feel and the bar is open until 2am. The décor is fresh and modern and the music is eclectic, with French tunes, Moroccan classics, and soulful RnB, occasionally interspersed with live bongo drums.

Open from early in the morning until midnight each day, Jour et Nuit is situated close to the sandy beach. Especially popular with younger crowds, the large al fresco terrace is a great place to chat, catch up over a few drinks, listen to the sounds of the ocean, and watch the world go by. Music plays inside the bar, drifting out to the outdoor seating area.
Le Blunt Restaurant Bar
Bar, Restaurant, Pub Grub
Situated close to Agadir’s Royal Palace, Le Blunt is a comfortable, casual, and cosy place to spend a few evening hours. The interior boasts a beautiful dome while there’s also a large patio with seating outside. Order a cocktail or a glass of wine and feel all worries flow away. Tapas and other light bites are available, and there is often live music.
Bar Fly
Hotel
A beautiful and relaxed bar within the 4-star Hôtel Royal Decameron Tafoukt Beach Resort, Bar Fly features live entertainment and karaoke on most nights of the week. Traditional Berber carpets cover the floors and floating fabrics hang sensuously from the ceilings. Seating is largely in the style of a traditional Moroccan salon, with long cushion-covered benches and oversized floor cushions. There are a few more private and intimate tables and chairs tucked into arched alcoves, while wall lanterns create a soft, romantic glow.
Le Mauresque Lounge
Restaurant, Moroccan, Mediterranean, Halal
Close to Le Mirage Casino, Le Mauresque Lounge is open until midnight each night. You’ll find both a Moroccan and a Mediterranean restaurant within the same complex if hunger hits, and tapas are available in the bar-lounge. Calm, relaxed, and welcoming, Le Mauresque Lounge is more of a place for unwinding than for getting ready for a wild night out. Sip a glass of wine, a cocktail, beer, or mixed drink and enjoy the music; depending on the night you can expect jazz or soul, disco, international pop, or dance.
Jockey Bar
Bar, Pub Grub
A trendy bar with a youthful vibe, Jockey Bar is a cool hideaway that mainly attracts a local crowd. Catering to different personalities and moods, visitors can enjoy drinking, dancing, relaxing, and chatting, with indoor and outdoor seating areas, plus a dance floor, available. There’s often live music and bands regularly play traditional Moroccan genres, including the hypnotic gnawa music. The DJ also keeps the crowd happy, playing a variety of music from Morocco and around the world.
