Rabat is the capital of Morocco, and although it is not the largest city, it has some spectacular views over the Bou Regreg river, as well as the well-known Kasbah of Oudayas. Here are 10 spots with stunning views in Rabat.

1. Café Maure

This is one of Rabat‘s top locations, a café located right in the Kasbah of Oudayas, with an impressive view of the Bou Regreg River. Here, you can enjoy a Moroccan mint tea with a couple of corne de gazelle pastries, and the sound of birds flying across the sky. You will find Café Maure only a few meters away from Le Dhow, another incredible restaurant located on the river.

2. Le Dhow

Le Dhow is a restaurant located on the port of Rabat and is peculiar because it’s in a boat right by the shore. Here, you can enjoy Mediterranean, European, or French dishes cooked by their amazing chef. The service is spectacular, with friendly staff, but the most incredible factor about is the view of the port. From the comfy sofas of Le Dhow, it is absolutely mesmerizing and a sight one can never forget.

3. Cantor Terminus

This is a hotel that is located right in the center of the capital, in front of the train station. This is an amazing location if you are looking to enjoy the city at its best, as you can sit on their rooftop terrace and enjoy a drink while listening to the relaxing music. The hotel is modern and sophisticated, and although there are many cheap restaurants in the area, none of them can beat the Cantor’s rooftop view.

Apart from its top location, Dar Aida has a great rooftop where you can sip in your fresh mint tea while overlooking the oldest part of the city.

The Cosmopolitan in Rabat is located right behind the train station of Rabat Ville, which is an exceptional spot. Here, you can enjoy a Mediterranean fish-filled dish and the most delicious wine with a view through a plate-glass window, while being only a couple of minutes away from the main boulevard of Rabat.
