From December to February, during the southern hemisphere’s summer, the usually sleepy city of Punta del Este becomes the buzziest beach resort in South America. Frequented by celebrities, models, designers and musicians, Punta is the place to be. If you’re headed to this glitzy Uruguayan city for some sun, these hotels in Punta del Este will suit even the most stylish traveler.
