Backpackers House has done a great job at creating common areas for people to hang out and socialize in. You’ll find a courtyard with plenty of chairs and hammocks for relaxation, and a rooftop terrace with a great view of the ocean; the perfect spot to catch the sunset. They offer standard private and shared dorm rooms, all of which are basic. From here you can organize any tour of Paracas and the islands.

2. Kokopelli Hostel Paracas

Kokopelli is the gold standard of hostels in Paracas. By far the most popular with backpackers, you’ll need to make a reservation, especially during the high season. Aside for the pool and well-stocked bar, Kokopelli’s greatest draw are its dorm rooms. Each dorm guest has a “pod,” an enclosed space with a light and personal window that allows for maximum privacy and comfort. It’s the kind of hostel you’ll want stay an extra night at, just to hang out.

4. Paracas 360 Eco Hostel

The only eco-hostel in Paracas, their aim is to decrease the impact of tourists on the beautiful landscape. Here you’ll be staying in a camper with a private bathroom. The campers range from dorm beds to larger private rooms. Guests’s favorite part is the outdoor area, which includes a large bar and a pool to hang out at during the day.
