Siwara

Located across from the Santa Catalina monastery, in the Santuarios Andinos museum, lies Siwara. This popular beer tavern is spread out across two patios, and is known for its lively atmosphere and large selection of beers. In addition to the great selection of beers, it also offers a good cocktail list and a full bar of other drinks. This bar is popular with both tourists and locals, and gives free passes to the Kibosh.

Déjà Vu

Déjà Vu is located in the historical center of Arequipa. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as turning into a popular nightclub at night, so get ready to party until dawn. The restaurant is spread between two floors and the upstairs terrace offers amazing views of the church of San Francisco. Music upstairs tends toward electronic music. The downstairs room plays classic pop songs and sometimes hosts live music.

La Tradición Arequipeña

La Tradición Arequipa serves traditional dishes from Arequipa, offering an immersive cultural experience in a casual and friendly restaurant. If it is a nice day, ask for a table outside; their outdoor area is surrounded by lush greens and offers a pleasant background to tasty local food and drinks. The restaurant offers live music on Saturday and gets very crowded, so be sure to get there early.

Casona Forum

Casona Forum offers a pizzeria, grill, pub, karaoke bar, and disco, plus a salsa club, on the premises. So you’ve no shortage of things to do here, and eat afterward. Unsurprisingly it gets very crowded at weekends so come early.

Le Café Art Montreal

Located in the historical center of the city, this bar has an intimate atmosphere and live music. Kibosh Pub

Kibosh Pub is a popular nightclub in Arequipa which is spread out between four different areas with a large dance floor. Loud music, usually salsa and hard rock, plays throughout the night and bright colorful lights and smoke shows keep the party vibe going til dawn. They also offer a diverse cocktail menu.

La Casa de Klaus

La Casa de Klaus offers a German-influenced menu and some local specialties as well; look out for their large and diverse beer menu. The atmosphere of the restaurant is intimate and romantic and it’s the perfect place for a special occasion or a night out with friends. They also have regular live music too.

Farrens Irish Pub is a typical sports pub, streaming live sports games on satellite televisions. This pub is popular with visitors to Arequipa, because the atmosphere is friendly and casual. Spread across two floors, the pub plays a rock and pop soundtrack, and has an extensive drinks list to wash it all down with.

Las Quenas

Las Quenas bar and restaurant offers live Andean music and special dance performances on certain nights, and also serve traditional Peruvian food starting at 8pm.
