Barrio Italia attracts foodies and design enthusiasts alike. A hidden gem, this neighborhood boasts plenty of independent shops and cafés within its charming arcades. The area has a lazy Sunday-like feel every day of the week, with Avenida Italia, the main artery of the barrio throbbing away. Rummage through the antique furniture, vintage vinyls and books, and refuel at one of these cute cafés in between.

Café Raíz ex Anay

Found on the corner of Avenida Italia and Santa Isabel, enter this sweet café where you’ll be greeted by the cheery waitresses.
