Man Quits Job, Takes Pet Cat on Vacation

There’s been cows, sheep and alpacas in the news of late, so it’s only fair cats get a shout out, too – right?

Meet Richard East and his lovely pet cat, Willow.

They hail from the wonderful land of Tasmania – a place synonymous with crazy cat men and ladies (it’s just because that’s the way things are over there). And by golly, isn’t Tassi so pretty!

After deciding to give the finger to the corporate snobs at work, he sold his house and thought it was about time he got to know his homeland a bit more.

So naturally, Richard gets a little VW and all sorts of gear to travel straight through the Red Centre with… wait for it…Willow, his BFF of a cat.

Living the simple life, they’ve seen some of Oz’s most spectacular sites together, including the likes of the ever so magical, Great Barrier Reef and Whitsunday Islands.
