On the banks of the Murray River, between Sydney and Melbourne, Albury is a magnet for outdoorsy types – with its waterfront trails, historic botanic gardens and vast areas of parklands. Throw in a thriving art scene, a selection of contemporary museums and galleries and fantastic cafes serving up local produce, and you’ll want to stay awhile and take it all in.
