Bella Goose Coffee

An independent coffee shop, Bella Goose Coffee is a delightful place to relax in with family and friends while enjoying a cup of coffee and some light snacks. Open Monday through Saturday, this little spot roasts its own coffee, ensuring a top-notch product of which customers cannot get enough. Must-try coffee drinks include the pumpkin pie latte, the salted caramel latte, and the lavender mocha. For something other than coffee, spiced caramel apple cider, teas, and hot chocolate are also available. Scones, cookies, and other sweet treats are also on sale.

The Cheeze Factory Restaurant

Vegan Mushroom BBQ “RIbs”

Although Wisconsin is famous for its cheese, diners will not find any at The Cheeze Factory Restaurant, as this place serves nothing but plant-based cuisine. A great place for vegans, the menu features an array of tasty vegan fare that will be sure to even please meat-lovers. Serving brunch, lunch and dinner Thursday through Sunday, guests can savor options such as the caprese sandwich with tomato, fresh basil, ‘cheeze,’ and pesto mayo, all on grilled organic multi-grain bread. You can also try the ‘sausage’ linguini primavera, and the tutti-frutti skillet with grilled cornbread, topped with coconut custard and a sweet fruit salsa.

High Rock Café

A local favorite, High Rock Café is the brainchild of chefs Justin Draper and Wade Bernander, both natives of Wisconsin Dells. Opened in 2004, these two friends have created a lively, spacious restaurant, complete with three dining rooms, a bar, and a patio, as well as a menu brimming with fantastic dishes inspired by their travels. Open every day for lunch and dinner, the cafe offers guests everything from appetizers to sandwiches, plus seasonal items. Try the seasonal Corgan ravioli (butternut squash ravioli with a maple cream sauce, spice walnuts, gorgonzola, and paprika oil), or the mainstay Mexican lasagna.

Hot Dog Avenue

For those diners looking for a budget-friendly option, Hot Dog Avenue is a must-try. Missing Chicago-style food, the owners opened Hot Dog Avenue in 2010 so that everyone could have a taste of Chicago in Wisconsin Dells. Hot Dog Avenue is a fast-casual establishment where everything is made-to-order, ensuring quality and freshness. Some of the tasty options diners can try include the New Mexico dog with chili and jalapeños, the Montana dog topped with spicy mustard, grilled onions, and bacon, and the gyro with tzatziki, tomatoes, and onions. Hot Dog Avenue is open Monday through Saturday for lunch and dinner.

Kaminski’s Chop House

A haven for meat-lovers, Kaminski’s Chop House offers succulent steaks and mouthwatering seafood. The interior is an elegant space located on the second floor of the Chula Vista Resort, which affords guests beautiful views of the Wisconsin River. Open for dinner every night, this classic steakhouse offers discerning diners choices such as the bone-in ribeye, which can be prepared with a crust (parmesan, blue cheese, or horseradish) and served with a sauce (hollandaise, béarnaise, blue cheese, or horseradish) for an additional cost. To complement the main dish, side dishes, including spinach and mushroom gratin, wild mushroom risotto, and onion rings, are also available, along with a variety of drinks.

Kernel Popcorn’s Factory

Even though this isn’t a restaurant in the traditional sense, Kernel Popcorn’s Factory offers visitors a host of sweet and savory snacks in the form of popcorn. Procuring the finest ingredients available, including the best butter, molasses, and pure cane sugar to name a few, the crew at this shop creates a variety of tantalizing flavors for their popcorn, from cashew caramel to strawberries and cream. Savory options include spicy jalapeño, ‘cheezy ranch,’ and baked potato. The factory is open daily.

MACS Macaroni and Cheese Shop

Located in historic downtown Wisconsin Dells, MACS has been delighting customers with its delicious cheesy goodness since 2013. As the name suggests, this restaurant specializes in macaroni and cheese. Within a rustic-industrial interior outfitted with reclaimed materials, guests can choose from many different skillets — such as the original MAC with cheddar and mozzarella, or the Memphis MAC with provolone, mozzarella, pulled pork, barbecue sauce, and ‘onion tanglers’. A family-friendly restaurant, MACS is open every day for lunch and dinner.

Monk’s Bar & Grill

Established in 1947, Monk’s Bar and Grill is a Downtown Dells establishment popular with visitors. Now with several locations within Wisconsin, Monk’s is a welcoming place adorned with sports memorabilia from Wisconsin teams — the Badgers and Packers. The menu features delicious recipes, such as the flavorful black bean burger, and the ‘black and bleu’ burger with Cajun seasoning, blue cheese crumbles, bacon, and blue cheese dressing, served with beer-battered French fries and signature pickles.

Showboat Saloon

Pepperoni pizza

Tucked inside a 1907 building that originally housed a tavern and offices, Showboat Saloon is a fun place that attracts a lively crowd seven days a week. Offering guests a selection of tasty dishes, great drinks, and fun entertainment, this establishment is a place the entire family can visit and have a good time in. The menu offers appetizers, pizzas, wings, and sandwiches.
