Using locally sourced ingredients in their contemporary cuisine, including produce from the resort’s organic garden and orchards, menus change each week and can be customised to guests’ dietary needs. The orange and thyme-brined roasted game hen with wild rice pilaf and bundles of green beans and vanilla carrots is one exquisite highlight from a previous menu. Along with homemade bread and tantalising desserts, such as sweet summer peaches and cream angel food cake with freshly whipped cream, plus an excellent list of wines, diners can also expect exceptional service and breath-taking views of the Cascades at this gem.

With an exterior that resembles a gingerbread house and sweet aromas wafting in the air, visitors will know they have entered The Gingerbread Factory. A staple in Leavenworth since 1989, this charming restaurant and bakery serves breakfast and lunch in addition to their tantalising baked goods. Highlights from the breakfast and lunch menus include a veggie quiche with cheese and fresh vegetables and the ‘Keller’ wrap, which consists of ham, cheddar and Swiss cheese, grilled onions, and Andreas Keller mustard wrapped in a tortilla. South is a delicious restaurant and bar serving modern Latin cuisine and creative Latin-inspired drinks in a lively atmosphere that includes live music on Friday nights.
