The space that Bluejacket occupies is a 100 year old factory that was converted into a modern beauty. The atmosphere of the brewery is friendly and relaxing. Bluejacket offers free tours on Saturdays, and one of their more popular beers is Goldfinch.

3. The Bullpen

The Bullpen is the main destination for live music in the Navy Yard. It boasts an open air bar and food stands with communal style seating, and is most crowded before and after a Washington Nationals home game. The Bullpen carries domestic bottled beers, and they also host corn hole tournaments on various days. The layout is open, and the re-purposed cargo adds to the retro feel of the venue.

Gordon Biersch specializes in German lager and has a glass enclosed brewery attached to the main establishment. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, and works great for social gatherings. 6. Old Ebbitt Grill

Since 1856, Old Ebbitt Grill is the oldest dining saloon in Washington D.C. The décor of the establishment is reminiscent of the Victorian era, with velvet booths and large watercolor paintings. Televisions surround the dining area broadcasting the latest sporting events and the layout is open, making the atmosphere relaxed and comfortable. The Capitol Lounge has the most extensive beer list in all of the Navy Yard, and this neighborhood establishment has a friendly atmosphere. Drink specials are offered every day and are accompanied by food deals as well, with domestic beers on tap and a wider variety bottled. The Capitol Lounge is the most exciting place to watch any Washington D.C. professional sports team.

Sonoma features two floors, with the bottom floor open for the normal bar and dining, and the top floor which is reserved for private parties.
