Le Refuge
Le Refuge is the oldest French restaurant in the Old Town of Alexandria. The menu is traditional French bistro style and has a superb reputation among local Alexandrians. You will find classic dishes such as French onion soup, Avocado stuffed with crabmeat, escargots, frogs legs, and filet mignon served with a Roquefort sauce.
Cosmopolitan
Cosmopolitan is a family-run restaurant and grill that offers German and Balkan cuisine made using the finest ingredients. Rustico

Brabo
Brabo is a collaborative project between Belgian head chef Robert Wiedmaier and chef de cuisine Harper McClure. The cuisine reflects the backgrounds of the two chefs and merges Belgian and Continental classics with a contemporary edginess using the finest seasonal produce. Originally hailing from Antwerp, Wiedmaier named the restaurant after the Brabo statue in his home city. There is a chef’s table at which diners can sample a tasting menu provided by the head chef and sommelier, and an outdoor terrace for al fresco dining. Brabo has built strong links with local farms and artisanal food producers with a menu that includes foie gras, bison carpaccio, Mediterranean sardines, honey roast duck breast, lamb loin, and swordfish, all served with the option of frites with mayonnaise in the traditional Belgian manner.
