Watching the big game at home can be fun, but there’s nothing like the energy of a sports bar crowd. If you want to cheer your team on while enjoying a mug of beer and the company of friends, head to one of these Nashville sports bars, where the fun and food are highly rated.

Jed's Sports Bar & Grille

Whether it’s to watch a sports game, enjoy a cold beer, or just mingle with strangers, Jed’s Sports Bar & Grille has a little bit of everything. Inside, which is a non-smoking environment, patrons can play foosball or darts or participate in Thursday night trivia at the bar upstairs. Outside is a patio bar where dogs are allowed. In fact, Jed’s even has a hashtag, #dogsofjeds, for guests who bring their furry friends along.

Beyond The Edge

Bar, American

With 25 HD televisions broadcasting every major sports game, Beyond The Edge is definitely a good place to watch your favorite team play. Join friends in a game of darts, billiards, or trivia every day. The bar serves over 120 different beers, with 25 on tap, and has daily two-for-one specials. Enjoy a plate of wings, a quesadilla, or a grilled chicken wrap.

Sam's Place – Belle Meade

Sam’s Place first opened its doors in 2000 and has been voted “Best Sports Grill” in Nashville for 14 years by Nashville Scene readers. The restaurant has HD televisions for mounted guests to enjoy games. All burgers, soups, and sauces are made fresh daily, and the grill’s philosophy is “if we are going to do it, let’s do it right.” You’ll also find buffalo wings, pizza and chicken on the menu, as well as weekday happy hour specials, 3–7pm.

Smokin Thighs

Not only does Smokin Thighs have eight 47″ HD televisions and an outdoor patio, it also has Nashville’s largest selection of moonshine. The restaurant, which caters through its food truck, has a very specific process when it comes to making its chicken. The main protocol is that the chicken is not fried. Instead, each piece is applewood-smoked, covered in barbecue sauce, and then finished on the grill.

Crow's Nest

For fans of wine, beer, ciders. or martinis, Crow’s Nest has a large selection of adult beverages to choose from. Enjoy a drink during happy hour (Tue–Fri, 2–6pm, all day Monday), inside or on one of the outside decks.
