The Flying Saucer is a casual bar that offers more than 200 different varieties of beer from around the world. With such an extensive list, it can be hard to figure out what to order, so be sure to ask the knowledgeable waiters what they would recommend. The interior of the building is casual, with old brick walls and a large open space, and the atmosphere of the bar is friendly and open.

Bar Louie

Bar Louie is a laid back and trendy bar famous for their handcrafted signature martinis. In addition to their martinis, they also offer an extensive beer and wine list, and all of their drinks are made with the freshest ingredients. Up Rooftop Lounge

Up Rooftop Lounge is located on the top of the Fairfield Inn and Suites, and offers 360-degree views of the downtown Nashville skyline. Their cocktails are created by hand with fresh seasonal ingredients, while the lounge also offers quality food. Their kitchen is dedicated to supporting local sustainable farms and the atmosphere of the lounge is upscale and modern.

Cantina Laredo

Cantina Laredo is an upscale Mexican restaurant that offers traditional Mexican food and drinks. The restaurant is kid friendly and offers a special kids menu, and their bar offers signature margaritas, mojitos, sangrias, cervezas, and tequila. Their portion sizes are very generous. Check out their Facebook page for seasonal specials, and stop in during happy hour for great deals.

Hops & Crafts

Hops & Crafts is a trendy beer taproom that features 36 different kinds of premium craft beers from around the country. Not sure what to order? Try their six pack sampler, where you can choose any six beers from their large collection. The taproom is located in a large warehouse-like building that is modern, simplistic, and chic, and they offer different specials for everyday of the week.

Station Inn

Opened in 1974, Station Inn is one of Nashville’s staples. In addition, it is also one of the best places in the world to hear bluegrass music. They host both new and upcoming bluegrass musicians as well as the big names in bluegrass – some of their most famous visitors have been Jimmy Martin, Bobby Osborne, and Alison Krauss. Come watch live music while enjoying a refreshing beer and slice of pizza.

Sambuca

Restaurant, Central American

For a night out with friends, be sure to visit Sambuca. Large groups are welcome and they can make accommodations for up to 200 people. A diverse selection of live music changes every night, which can range from classic rock to jazz and everything in between. Be sure to visit the rooftop patio that overlooks the Nashville skyline.

Yazoo Brew Company

Yazoo Brewing Company opened their Nashville brewery in 2010, but before then the brewery had already made a name for itself. Before opening in Nashville, they had been selling their brews to local bars and restaurants. After winning multiple awards, such as a Gold Medal at the Great American Beer Festival, they expanded and have now become known throughout the Southeast. In their Nashville brewery, they offer weekly tours throughout the facility.

Jackalope Brewing Company

Friends Bailey Spaulding and Robyn Virball met in college and later realized that they wanted to own their own brewery. Later, they were joined by their friend Steve Wright and officially opened Jackalope Brewing Company. Their motto is ‘believe in yourself. Believe in great beer.’ In addition to their original brews, they sell handcrafted soaps made from their beer and hops. Look out for their Thursday night trivia and Saturday morning yoga.

Whiskey Kitchen

Whiskey Kitchen has been voted as one of America’s 60 Best Bourbon Bars by The Bourbon Review, and one of America’s Best Whiskey Bars by Fodor’s Travel. With an enormous selection of whiskeys, bourbons, ryes, and scotches, this is one of the top destinations in Nashville. The restaurant offers wood-fired pizzas and traditional pub food in addition to their extensive cocktail list.
