The 10 Best Bars in Germantown, Nashville

Sarah Lantz

Located in North Nashville, Germantown has established itself as the foodie district, full of brand new restaurants and fine dining. It’s also a good place to explore bars, whether connected to a prestigious restaurant or its own standalone pub. Here’s a list of our ten favorite places to grab a drink.

1. h & Taylor

Diner, Restaurant, American

Inspired by American Sunday dinners, Chef Daniel Lindley created 5th & Taylor as a restaurant to recreate, in a refined expression, traditional fare meant to foster community. The ambiance is artsy and hipster-friendly, with plaster sculptures, splattered canvases, and an overhanging ceiling that makes the place feel like a museum warehouse. Yet the space feels intimate at the same time, with comfy chairs and couches, candles, and simple tables. The bar offers a variety of drinks, from cucumber infused vodka cocktails to sangrias, all served by candlelight.
