Cleveland is the home of the Cleveland Cavaliers, The Great Lake Science Center, and great bars. For those wanting to experience Cleveland’s nightlife, here are the 10 best places in this Ohio city.

Cleveland

1. Flannery’s Pub

Pub, Irish, American, Beer

This place serves imported bottles from Ireland, Mexico, Jamaica, and many other areas, of single malt scotch, and Irish whiskey. It is clear that Flannery’s Pub is dedicated to catering to diverse acquired tastes. Every Friday and Saturday evening, Flannery’s features live music that consists of the best local talents. There is also a game room with pool and darts for entertainment. After spending time in places close by, like Public Square and Tower City, Flannery’s is a relaxing way to unwind and end your day.

Located in Cleveland’s Warehouse District, Dive Bar was voted the ‘Best Place To Watch A Buckeyes Game’ by Scene Magazine in 2015 and it makes perfect sense. They have 42 beers on tap, a live DJ on Thursdays to Saturdays, and they have annual bar crawls for a suggested donation. Dive Bar is pro-Ohio everything. Guests will not miss a single Browns, Cleveland State, Cleveland Cavaliers, or Ohio State game while there. Having fellow Browns, Cavs, and Buckeye fans around creates a homely sense of inclusivity.

3. Wonder Bar

Bar, Pub Grub, American

Wonder Bar was featured in Scene Magazine’s ‘Best of Cleveland East 4th Street’, and was voted the ‘Best Reason to Come Downtown’. Its location is convenient as it is scenic and its building is actually the historic Krause Building below the lofts on 4th Street. This is a great place to either stop to have a quick drink or to stick around for the Cavs pregame. The comfortable and welcoming atmosphere of this bar is very homely. Guests can get worked up by the games and cheer loudly at the TV – there’ll be others joining in too.

4. A Bar + Kitchen

Established by two college friends who shared the same dreams, passion and love for Cleveland, A Bar + Kitchen was made to be a reflection of the Cleveland lifestyle and state of mind. They have an array of handcrafted cocktails, weekend brunches and a late-night menu. There’s even an online ordering option to satisfy those cravings when driving is too much work. Their services are heartfelt and sincere, and all Clevelanders and non-Clevelanders alike are welcome to enjoy their flavorful menu.

5. Clevelander Bar & Grill

Bar, Pub Grub

Located a short walk away from the Quicken Loans Arena and across from Progressive Field, Clevelander Bar & Grill is packed with more than 10 flat screen HDTVs to view games among fans of the same team. They have mainstream beers like Miller Lite, Bud Light, Budweiser, and Guinness along with a full appetizing menu to energize sports fans before games. They even have an online calendar that highlights the best times to visit and watch important games of the season.

6. Lola

Bar, Bistro, Restaurant, American, Steakhouse

If you are in the mood for more food than drinks, then Lola is the best option. It has been recognized and awarded for its decor, food, and guest services over the years. They have received a ‘Most Popular Restaurant (Cleveland)’ award from Zagat, ‘Four Diamonds Award’ from AAA, and four awards from Cleveland Magazine, among others. This is a place that will impress on the first date. And, if that date does not go well, then the bar is just four steps away to make it all better.
