The sign outside the shop says ‘Antiques,’ but they offer brunch as well. HôM Bay Ridge combines the best of both worlds: shopping and eating. You can shop around for tabletop decorations, mirrors, accent furniture, wine bottle holders, and other accessories. After shopping, feel free to stop by their cafe and try their red velvet pancakes, green eggs and ham, and the South Pole burger.

2. Pegasus

You must try Pegasus‘ freshly squeezed orange juice, waffles with Nutella, fruit, and whipped cream along with the omelet. This could be a great pick-me-up after a fun and relaxing night out with friends or significant other. If you do not fancy leaving your apartment or house, they offer take-out and delivery quickly.

3. Cebu Bar and Bistro

This establishment is owned by Bay Ridge natives Ted Nugent and Michael Esposito. They first opened up in 2002, when the restaurant served as a late-night venue that stayed open until 3am. Over time, Esposito’s and Nugent’s business made its way onto the dining scene and soon started serving brunch. With their recent expansion in 2009, the Cebu Bar and Bistro now has 100 additional seats, a lounge area with a fireplace, and a more intimate bar area. Whatever you fancy, you will be comfortable and well taken care of at this establishment.

4. Off Shore Restaurant

Nestled in Bay Ridge, Off Shore Restaurant offers many breakfast and brunch dishes that include burgers, wraps, paninis, and soups. They even have a healthy menu for those who are trying to maintain their figures. The inside of the diner isn’t the most modern, but then again what diner is modern? That kind of atmosphere, mixed with the friendly wait staff, makes for a wonderful dining experience. Sometimes the simplest route is the best way to go.

5. Royal Diner

At this establishment, the seating area is in your living room with your favorite television show. Although they do have a stationary restaurant, they also allow customers to order their food online. You have a multitude of options to choose from, including the choices of two eggs any style, an egg sandwich, iced coffees, and regular coffees. Royal Diner also offers a variety of American cuisine that includes American burgers and seafood plates that will satisfy your palate.
